Classes & Training

Personal Training

We offer personal training for those who are 100% commited to taking their health to the next level or beyond. Our encouraging staff will go through a three step process of informing, educating and implementing a fitness routine that meets your specific needs.  We recommend you commit to three sessions to complete the initial evaluations and movement analysis, including a nutrition planning session. After this is completed, further planning can take place to keep the client on their path to better health and fitness.

Vinyasa Yoga Flow

Traditional Vinyasa flow featuring Sun Salutations and warrior series with balancing asana (deep connected pose). Vinyasa essentially means, “to live in a special way”. This practice has a theme or purpose with poses linked together in a beautifully designed flow. The pace of the class is centered towards Pranayama (controlled intake and outflow of breathe with each movement). Multi-level class centered towards beginners! ~ 45/60 min

Barre Pilates

Set to upbeat music (to keep you motivated), our 60-minute class starts with a warm up and sequence of upper-body exercises using light free weights, push-ups and plank.  It’s here that we target the bicep, tricep, shoulder, chest and back muscles. Then we move into a series of ballet barre or floor exercises that focus on the thighs – which we then stretch.

Our seat series follows, using the ballet barre or floor. We finish off the seat with more stretching.  It’s onto abs after that, followed by more stretching (picking up on the theme?) and some back extensions. We wrap up the class with our fun “back dancing” and our final stretch.

Refined Strength Training

Refined Strength was built on the belief that there is an inner strength in each of us that is ready to be tapped into. Our training is designed to reach in and pull out that innate resiliency and put it through a refining process.

Nutritional Counseling

Studium B partners with E.W. Nutrtion to offer nutritonal counseling.  We all face points in our lives where we have to make change. Each of us has the tool for health and change, our bodies. The human body is a machine that knows how to operate and heal itself. We have to properly fuel that machine to help it perform the way it is designed and to aide it in the daily healing process.  Recognizing and listening to the cues of your body is the key to defining your nutritional needs, nutrition is not one size fits all. I am passionate about helping people learn about their bodies and minds and coaching them in the process of finding what will best fuels their lives.
